Airline Booking System — Full SDLC

Team project across multiple deliverables (D1–D4). I led the team, organized the work, and authored significant portions of the analysis & design.

Overview

Semester-long Systems Analysis & Design project to specify an Airline Booking System through the SDLC. The class formed teams of 4–5; I built a team of four, coordinated work, and owned critical sections to ensure quality and timely delivery. We completed four graded deliverables (D1–D4) covering investigation, requirements (with UML), system requirements, and the final design package.

My Role & Contributions

  • Team leadership: formed the team, assigned sections, set deadlines, and handled integration & quality control.
  • Hands-on delivery: authored major portions across D1–D4; collaborated closely with the technically strong teammate; filled gaps where needed.
  • Quality & consistency: ensured traceability from problem statement → requirements → UML → design, and that each deliverable built on the previous one.
  • Scope management: a fifth optional deliverable existed; we focused on mastering D1–D4 given strong standing in the course.
