Paddly — Product & Venture (MVP)

Final project for E-commerce & the Internet: business plan, Level-1 system analysis, and a local WordPress + WooCommerce prototype with a live presentation.

Overview

Paddly is a SportsTech MVP for the padel community: find partners, book courts, and track basic stats. The work blended venture design with a working site prototype to prove feasibility and get feedback fast.

My Role & Contribution

  • Venture design: defined value prop, audience, and multi-stream business model; wrote the business plan.
  • Systems analysis: captured core functional & non-functional requirements; mapped user flows and early data objects.
  • Implementation: stood up a local WordPress + WooCommerce instance; configured catalog/booking and demo content.
  • Presentation: prepared and delivered the final deck plus a hands-on demo of the running site.

MVP Highlights

  • Focused on matchmaking + court booking as the initial value wedge.
  • Used WooCommerce to accelerate e-commerce setup; Bookly planned for booking flows.
  • Outlined data entities: players, clubs/courts, bookings, match sessions, and basic stats.
  • Roadmap: skill-tiered matchmaking, club integrations, payments, and leaderboards.
